The Telecoms Test Accelerator is the mission focussed facility with a strong focus on increasing the security of 5G, IoT, Sensors and Connected Places.
It provides an operational co-creation space where organisations such as SME’s, enterprises, academic institutions and national bodies work collaboratively to understand the threats and opportunities in exploiting UK focussed 5G and related technologies.
The 57 Hectare secure test ground provides dark fibre, office space, workshops, road network, faraday cage and access to open land and air space. Multiple 5G SA networks are run from an onsite hosting facility where user and security testing applications are deployed. Private network links pull in the connected communities of rural, urban and sterile sea.
